Nice paddle, excellent customer service

I purchased a pair of these paddles in the 240cm length for my Ocean Kayak Malibu XL tandem last October. I usually paddle a couple hours at a time around Hilo bay, Hawaii, with my wife and 3yr old son, and occasionally use them in rough water kayak surfing. I was immediately impressed with the quality. I have to admit I haven't owned many good paddles before, but these are by far the best. They are very stiff, no flutter or flexing and in my opinion plenty light and comfortable for a couple hours at least.
I did manage to snap one of them in half at the joint while paddling into some moderate surf, I don't know if the joint was defective or if I just don't know my own strength, but the company was very understanding and sent out a new paddle without charge. Despite breaking a paddle I am still impressed with the quality and strength and the fact that the company is willing to stand behind their product has only made me like my new paddles more.
