Solid fins!
I used these fins while doing PADI open water diver certification.
These fins are, for the most part, great! They generate a lot of power and I was easily keeping up with divers with much more expensive fins. They are long and a little too stiff; with a little more flex, I think these fins could produce a lot more power from small flicks of the calves.
It may have been due to buying a size slightly too large, but I experienced some foot cramping with these fins. The ankle strap is nice and tight and has a wide range of adjustment. The foot pocket is large and accommodates a fin sock/boot easily.
I usually wear a men's size 10 shoe and had a relatively thin fin sock on. I was wearing the Cressi Pro Light in Medium/Large. They felt a little too big, but I imagine the Small/Medium size might be too small. I also appreciate the extra space in case I ever need to wear a thicker boot.
Overall these fins served me very well. I spent much less than...
- Dual material blade uses strong polypropylene and soft elastomer
- Full length side-rails help direct water flow for improved thrust
- Elastomer foot pocket improves comfort
- Blade extends from the top of the foot for increased surface area
- Quick-release strap buckles

These highly responsive blades are also very lightweight, and a great choice for traveling divers who want an open-heel fin. The dual-material blade balances power with kicking comfort, and full-length side rails help it track naturally through the water using a standard scissor kick. The soft elastomer foot pocket is shaped for an ergonomic and comfortable fit.
