An Excellent Alternative
For years my husband and I have considered purchasing a hot tub, but space and price restraints have prevented us from doing so, until I spotted this Intex Purespa on Amazon. With its reasonable price and small size we decided to buy it, and so far are very pleased with our purchase.
First, the spa arrived within three days of ordering it and in perfect condition. The installation too was made surprisingly easy by a DVD that provides step-by-step instructions--and remarkably no tools except those provided were required. My husband and I set up the tub in about two hours, though the water took almost a day to heat up to 102 degrees (the maximum temperature is 104). My only complaints are that the heating and circulation system is rather noisy (we placed a waterhog mat under it to muffle the sound), and I do wish Intex would have given some instructions as to the chemicals needed for the spa, but after checking our water with the test strips provided, we found what was...
