2011: i picked this kite up in time for Memorial Day from Air Traffic for $99.99. Like other reviews this kite will not stay up in 4-5mph winds. I've flown it in a 9mph wind, 12mph gusts) in an open field with a smooth wind stream. In no time I was doing snap stalls flipping it on it's back and recovering. I was able to steer it toward the edge of the wind window and make it hover in a trick I coined an "UFO", which I turned into a side-slide. This kite is very responsive, easy to fly, and FUN! In a stiff breeze this kite pulls HARD on the Strong Wind setting. Only when I flew it in sustained 18 - 25mph wind with a 37mph gust did a line break where it joins to the sleeved area. I've also crashed it into a steel soccer goal on it's maiden flight and then into the ground hard and it sustained NO DAMAGE! IMO there is no other kite that can compare to the Quantum's DURABILITY and FUN!
2012: After more use frequent line breakage became a serious buzzkill. I upgraded to 220lb 110ft...
