I was on the fence for a good 2 months on what fish finder to buy between lowrance and humminbird till i cam across garmin. I choose the garmin over the others because of the reviews i found on the net and the fact that it has a dock so it can be removed from the boat when not in use . I have used it a few times and i find my self partoling my normal fishing spots just to see what they looked like with the down imaging(downvu). As a side note you can have it display the fish arches or an actual "gold fish" image.
