good factory replacement

The temperature read-out on my Lowrance sounder quit registering. I called Lowrance and they recommended replacing the transducer. This unit was available at a good price. After installation I was able to read surface temp again. I only gave it 4 stars because of my poor reliability history of my Lowrance equipment. I have had two transducer fail for the same reason, lost a GPS antenna and had a head unit fail. All in all, of the five pieces of Lowrance equipment installed on my boat, four have failed within two years. A very poor record for equipment at this expensive price point. I will not be buying any more Lowrance products.
