Not like it used to be

The fit of the sperry boat shoe was, as expected, very good. What I immediatly noticed however, was that the shoe quality was not what it used to be. The leather is thinner and not as well finished as in my previous sperry top-siders. But most important to me, the shoe liner, was not up to par. Previous purchases had full foot leather shoe liners. This is important because if you tend to wear the show without socks you will often pull up the liner when removing your shoes. The new shoe liner is a half liner, not all leather and without the former quality that I was used to.
Sperry, charge a bit more perhaps but maintain the quality. Thanks from a former top-sider fan
