Get these knockoff rocket fins instead of the real brand. If you're considering getting this for training for the Navy stop considering and get it. I have a pair of real rocket fins and the only difference I saw was the logo not being present, other than that they are pretty much identical. Comparing these fins to recreational fins they are insanely faster when swimming and easily top any split fin or long fin imho. They are somewhat heavier than the modern fins but it makes up for it with its speed and isn't as noticeable when you're moving. I wear these fins with the 2-3 mm sock thats also sold on amazon and it fits PERFECTLY. Its not too short that the strap hits my ankle. Also the straps on these fins are brand new so I dont see them snapping anytime soon. But I will be looking around for a back up pair of straps that are identical to the ones they came with if it does happen.
