1st TRI SHORTS, GOOD FIT
I just bought these for my 1st sprint triathlon and I can't comment on their performance yet, but I wanted to address their sizing as I know how difficult it can be to order clothing online. I am 5'9", 160 lbs (32" waist, 41" hips and long waisted) and wear a size 10-12. I tried on both the large and extra large, the XL fit. Be advised that the elastic around the legs is pretty tight. I'm hoping that it is because they might loosen up during the swim. The padding (which appears to be nylon material over a thin layer of foam) also seems to be a little more substantial (and better, in my opinion) than the Zoot brand a friend of mine has. I did notice, however, that the padding wasn't sewed down around the very edge (like the Canari brand was) so that may be why the other reveiwer had some rubbing issues when wet. I also liked the matte on black Celtic-like design on the side. It kind of gave it more character, in my opinion. I rated it only 4 stars because I don't care for the design...
